Faith Community Church has been such an influential, safe, and loving community that I’ve gotten to call home now for the last 9 months. This church has not only welcomed me when I was at my lowest point in my life but has given me the strength and space to grow an amazing relationship with the Lord. Pastor Lisa going to scripture that shows how loving of a Lord we have, even with all of our imperfections kept me wanting to come thru the doors more every week wanting to learn more about this Savior that shows me infinite grace. I have been an alcoholic and an addict for 15 years, & I’m now 30 with almost 1 year clean by the grace of God. Faith Community is not just a place that preaches Gods message, but offers a community of support to those in recovery, which is unlike any experience I’ve had within a church. This community has become a staple every Sunday for me & my boyfriend in recovery, & even his 10 year old who gets up every Sunday eager to sing and praise Jesus! The impact Faith Community has had on me is truly something that’s hard to put into words, it’s kept me accountable, gives me fellowship with others in recovery, and now gives me a space to even encourage and help others that are coming in exactly where I was. I’m truly blessed to be a part of this family here.

We enjoy going to church again now that we worship at Faith Community. Everyone is truly welcome no matter who they are. Come as you are really means come as you are, no pretense or polish needed. Each Sunday, we receive practical Biblical teaching from Lisa that is applicable to every day life. And it’s a joy to see the church so involved in caring for the community.

When I was asked to share, I turned to the source of all my deepest thoughts—Creator. I prayed, and the answer came to me: that the choice of church is always right for me. After my connection with the Creator, it is this church and the fellow souls here who guide me in continuing to make that choice. Being part of this open and inclusive community reinforces and amplifies my connection to the power of our God.
